Sunday Morning Worship
We meet on Sundays for Holy Communion – at 10am at St Olaf’s in Kirkwall, and at 10.30am at St Mary’s in Stromness. Whether you live in Orkney or are a visitor to the islands, we’d be delighted to welcome you to one of our services.
Other services & meetings
Evening Prayer
We meet for Evening Prayer at 8pm on Zoom every Sunday. These services are led by members and friends of the congregation and generally last for about 20 minutes.
Midday Prayer
On Wednesdays at midday we meet in the St Magnus Cathedral for a short ecumenical time of worship and meditation.
Morning Coffee
We meet for coffee and a chat at 10.30am in the St Magnus Café on Broad St every Wednesday.
Contemplative Prayer
There is a time of Contemplative Prayer at noon every Thursday in St Mary’s.
We occasionally have additional meetings and events and you can find out about these – and more about our regular meetings – here. Even if you don’t usually worship at St Olaf’s, you are very welcome to join us for any of these – just email catriona@soligeo.scot for details.
